I am looking for small-farm groups and/or transport companies who may be interested in piloting a mobile app that aggregates the transport of produce.
The app is developed by a non-profit tech group called Digital Green. The concept of the app works similar to Uber Pool where a farmer books a pick-up and drop-off and the request is aggregated with other bookings in the same area. The app is successful with farmers in India and we are trying to see how it translates here in the US.
We are looking to pilot the app in early 2018. The right pilot group needs to have existing relationships with farmers and drivers. The benefit is the aggregation of routes. Contact me if your group is interested. I’d be happy to show you a mock-up of the app and talk to you more about this opportunity.
