West Sacramento Urban Farm Weekly Veggie Box CSA

West Sacramento Urban Farm Weekly Veggie Box CSA

The West Sacramento Urban Farm Program is proud to offer a weekly fresh fruit and veggie box filled with locally grown produce from Center for Land-Based Learning farmers and affiliates. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is one of the best ways for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from local farmers. When you subscribe to West Sacramento Urban Farms weekly fresh veggie box CSA, you can be assured that you are receiving the freshest, most local, vine-ripened produce available. The carbon footprint of your box is strikingly lower than store bought produce, as it is grown within 2-25 miles of the pickup location at Yolo Brewing Company.

100% of the produce in your weekly fresh fruit and veggie box is grown by beginning farmers. Did you know that the average age of the American farmer is 58 years old. By supporting a beginning farmer you are enabling them to gain precious experience growing the best produce possible.

Growing Practices

All of our beginning farmers grow using Organic standards. Absolutely no chemical fertilizers, or herbicides are used and all of our farmers use drip irrigation, which uses a fraction of the water used in other methods.
